I agree completely. I never cared for the term “essential” as far as classifying people during the pandemic. I think it has the potential to spread the idea that some are more valuable than others. But that is viewing things through human eyes which put more emphasis on things like titles, possessions, etc, whereas God values us all

I believe this whole heartedly. I think that everyone has value and are essential because of their soul. God has a plan and meaning for everyone and values every soul. When living your life by certain guidelines and morals you are allowing your soul to not only please God, but to also be an example to others. In that way you are not only essential to God, but to others as well.

With all of the social media that exists, I believe people place far too much importance on what others view as relevant or essential. You aren’t more essential because you make more money, drive an expensive car, or have a mansion. You are essential because you have a soul and therefore have worth to God and those around you. Whether it is family, friends, or coworkers you can have an effect on their souls and life.
