Conclusion
For behold the kingdom of God is within you. Jesus
As stated in the introduction, the purpose of this analysis was not to provide new information, but, at best, to supply contextual analysis to a current situation through scripture.
Difficult experiences are what inspire us to search for Truth. Jesus himself addressed that when he said, Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven (Mt. 5:3). Every experience that encourages us to search for something true, is to the benefit of our soul.
The Truth will always be the remedy to every experience that makes us feel poor in spirit. The Truth is always current because it is unchanging, it is eternal. The Truth is always applicable, but it requires diligence and faith on the part of the individual to first, search for Truth; second, to live by it once we have found it; and third, to retain what we have found. Living by Truth will foster the mature development of our soul, which will bring purpose and value to our life.
A byproduct of the pandemic was the misappropriation of the term ‘essential’, and that misappropriation has further contributed to the distortion of Truth in our current time. The intrinsic value of the individual hinges on the acceptance of the idea of the eternal soul. This idea is the accepted premise for this analysis, and from that platform we must move forward.
To emphasize the value of the individual we will leave you with one final statement from Jesus, …for behold the kingdom of God is within you (Lk.17:21). Every individual has the ability to access the Truth, which is referred to in the scripture as the kingdom of God. The answer lies within. By searching through the eternal part of the self, the soul, we can be guided through life by the Spirit of Truth. The topics that have been discussed outline how the pursuit of Truth informs us on what is ‘essential’ in life.
